About Brinkley Aerospace

Brinkley Aerospace repairs and overhauls aircraft components. It was established in 1999. Its headquarters are in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, in England, in a building of 17,800 square feet. The company also has a non-destructive testing facility at Bournemouth Airport.

Its main work covers propellers, wheels and brakes, landing gear assemblies, governors and accumulators. It also lists NDT and parts. The site names support for makers such as Hartzell, McCauley, MT-Propeller, Sensenich, Textron Aviation, Cleveland, Goodrich, Meggitt and Kaman. It describes itself as an OEM approved facility.

The managing director is Darren Carter, who holds CAA, EASA and FAA licences and has type ratings from general aviation to airlines. The company says its customers include military, corporate and private operators in over 60 countries.

The site lists approvals from the UK CAA, EASA, the FAA, the DGCA, the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission and the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority. Its NDT team supports work on the wing and in test houses. A recent news post mentions CFM56 dovetail root inspections and lists ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic, magnetic particle, penetrant and thermography methods.

The company says its mission is to give fast turnaround times with good quality and service. The website has a contact form and a phone number, and it says the team aims to reply within 24 hours.
