BIKAR

BIKAR is a German metal trading group. It sells non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper, brass and bronze. It also has separate units for aerospace supply, logistics and recycling. The group works as BIKAR Metals.

BIKAR Metalle is the trading arm. It sells metals in many shapes, including plates, round bars, tubes, profiles and rings. The full shape list is longer. It also covers sheets, hexagon and square bars, circular blanks and T, U and Z profiles. The unit runs a cutting centre, makes drawing parts and manages inventory for customers. It also offers IT solutions for ordering and stock.

BIKAR Aerospace serves the aerospace trade. It holds storage material and does contract business. It also provides IT solutions and works with partners. Aerospace aluminium grades on offer include 7050 and 7075 or 7175 rolled plate. The 7050 alloy is age-hardenable, strong, suited to low temperatures and welds very well. Other grades include EN AW-7075 in plate and round bar. This alloy is hardenable, very strong and has high fatigue strength. The group also lists FORMODAL 025X cast plate, which is sawn on all sides, and EN AW-5083 rolled plate. Customers can ask for thicker plates than the standard.

BIKAR Logistics offers forwarding, transport of goods, supply chain management and intralogistics. This lets the group move metal to customers and manage flows inside plants.

BIKAR Recycling deals in metal chips and scrap. It buys and sells scrap and handles the material. It also publishes information about its approach to sustainability.

Across these units, the group serves customers that buy metal in standard and cut-to-size forms. It also supplies aerospace buyers who need set grades of aluminium.
