BEUMER Group is a privately owned intralogistics company founded in 1935 and now in its third generation of family ownership. It designs and manufactures systems for conveying, loading, palletising, packaging, sortation and airport baggage handling, employs more than 6,000 people, is represented in 70 countries and reports an annual order intake of around EUR 1.83 billion. The group is headquartered in Beckum, Germany, and its airport baggage handling business is built around the Crisplant brand, developed in Denmark. The company is ISO 27001 certified and supports customers in building cyber resilience in their operations.

Airport references

BEUMER's published airport references include San Francisco's Harvey Milk Terminal 1, described as the first tote-based independent carrier system in the United States, Singapore Changi Airport, Helsinki Airport with nearly 15 million passengers a year and 350 departures a day, and Dusseldorf Airport, Germany's third largest, where a new CrisBag system was installed in Terminals B and C with CrisStore storage. The company publishes a knowledge hub on reducing baggage handling costs and using data analytics to lower system opex.

Other business areas

Beyond airports, BEUMER serves the courier, express and parcel industry, e-commerce and fashion warehouses, cement, mining, chemicals and port logistics with bucket elevators, conveyor bridges, railway loading systems, the robotpac robot palletiser and the BEUMER Flow parcel software suite. From the 2026/27 season the group is the main shirt partner of football club FC Schalke 04 under an agreement running until at least 2029.
