Avianor

Avianor is an aerospace company at Montréal-Mirabel International Airport (YMX) in Quebec, with airside access. It combines aircraft maintenance with cabin interior work. The company says it has more than 30 years of experience, more than 465 full time and contracted employees and over 300,000 square feet of hangar, fabrication and repair shops, warehouse and offices. It is an affiliate of DRAKKAR.

Aircraft maintenance

• Heavy maintenance checks and visits on commercial and military aircraft
• An A220 Center of Excellence
• Post-delivery modifications and aircraft upgrades
• Engineering and program management that produces data packages approved by TCCA, the FAA and EASA

Cabin interiors

• Cabin reconfiguration for wide body and narrow body aircraft from all major makers
• Overhaul and modification of economy, business and first class seats, which the company has done for more than 25 years
• Electric full flat suites, flight attendant seats and in-flight entertainment installation or transfer
• Design, manufacture, certification and final assembly of interior parts as an OEM
• Interior trading: the company owns several complete narrow body and wide body cabin interiors, and can certify, refurbish and modify aftermarket parts
• A 3-in-1 online marketplace, launched in December 2025, where technical teams search interior parts, add them to a project, request a quote and get support

Projects

• Air Canada Jetz: a two year cabin refurbishment for the charter division, with seats designed, manufactured and certified by Avianor
• LATAM: customized stowage units and installation kits for two Boeing 787 aircraft, approved by the FAA and validated by the Chilean authority
• Air Transat: an A330 C-check in October 2020, with more than 60 technicians
