About APM Technologies

APM Technologies makes software for airline operations from its base in Geneva, Switzerland. Its tools cover schedule and slot planning, flight operations and crew management. The company has worked with airlines since 2002.

The company says it is more than a software developer. Its people are aviation professionals who know the daily problems of operations managers. The tools are built to use the language of operations, not tech jargon. Its purpose is to help operations managers make better decisions with real-time data and simple tools that are easy to bring into use.

For scheduling, SchedulePlanner helps airlines plan, manage and refine their schedule and slot portfolio. OpsConnect works with it to link scheduling and operations. For flight operations, SmartOps gives teams a clear view of live data, and OpsConnect supports the same work.

For crewing, CrewLogic handles crew planning and rostering, and CrewConnect is the app that crew members use. More than 8,000 crew members use the app. A recent update says the first client is now live with a browser-based version of CrewLogic. The company's tools also help crews check rules, for example on flight duty extensions.

APM also offers technical services. Its installation and support service puts the software into use and keeps it running. Its integration and messaging service connects the software with other airline systems. Each client gets a dedicated account manager, so issues are not handled only by ticket number.

The company lists 17 airlines among its clients, across several regions. It describes its software as Swiss-designed by aviation minds, and it reports a customer satisfaction rate of 98 percent. It says new teams can reach full productivity in about seven days.

APM holds ISO 9001 certification. It announced a successful ISO 9001 2015 recertification in 2022 and said it had been certified for over seven years. The company says this work has helped improve its aviation software as it moves to browser-based tools.
