AirTanker

AirTanker is an aviation service company based at RAF Brize Norton, in Carterton, Oxfordshire. In 2008 it was awarded the Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft contract by the UK Ministry of Defence. Under this contract it provides the Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft, called Voyager, to the Royal Air Force.

The company says its work covers air-to-air refuelling, air transport and aeromedical flights for the RAF. It also offers training and major aircraft upgrades, and it covers maintenance from end to end. Alongside this military work, AirTanker leases A330 aircraft to the civil market. The homepage tells of a world first flight on 100 percent sustainable aviation fuel. AirTanker says it led the team effort that flew a Voyager A330 MRTT on this fuel.
