Airfasco

Airfasco, short for Aircraft Fastener Company, is a manufacturer of AN, MS, NAS and NASM aerospace fasteners based in Canton, Ohio, where it operates from a 105,000 square foot factory and warehouse. Founded by Dennis Dent in 1979 after he saw the chance to expand from hardware distribution into manufacturing, the company bought the equipment of an AN bolt maker and later a screw and pin manufacturer, including 30 Waterbury Hi-Pro cold headers, and in 1994 acquired Mercury Aerospace's hot forming equipment to add large hot formed bolts, nuts and pins. A small business with fewer than 50 employees, Airfasco sells factory direct and stamps every fastener with its AFC logo.

• Quality system registered to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016, with calibration in line with ISO 10012-1 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1
• Statistical process control and lot number control on all manufactured products, with complete test reports supplied in paper and PDF for every lot
• All products DFARS 252.225-7014 specialty metals compliant and made in the USA; end use and user certificates required for exports

Ordering

Requests for quotation are submitted through the part number search and inventory pages on the website, where registered accounts receive company pricing, and purchase orders are acknowledged in writing against an Airfasco quotation number. The company publishes drawings and specifications, training videos, an FAQ and its holiday closure schedule, and remembers long-serving colleagues including former quality manager Bill Dent and vice president and general manager Gordon Selden.
