About Aircraft Maintenance Systems
Aircraft Maintenance Systems makes AIR22, a cloud-based management information system for aircraft operators, CAMO teams, maintenance organisations and supply chains.
The company says AIR22 is used by more than 200 aviation operators and maintenance organisations in 43 countries. It builds on 25 years of aviation experience. The system joins three modules in one package: airworthiness, the maintenance workshop and supply chain.
The airworthiness module is made for CAMO work and fleet airworthiness management. Users can import documents such as airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance programmes and flat logs, then update their aircraft through set workflows. The company says AIR22 has been certified with users under Transport Canada, FAA and EASA rules.
The maintenance workshop module covers daily MRO work. Users can assign resources by time and certification, follow and update tasks, produce the needed documents and sign them digitally. Task cards, e-signature and mobile inventory are all handled in digital workflows.
The supply chain module covers the whole inventory process. It manages parts and tools and includes a full sales and purchase workflow.
AIR22 works from any device, including phones, tablets and laptops, and it allows many users and many bases. Data hosting is unlimited, with daily backups on the company's secure cloud. Offline and on-premise options are also offered. Training takes two days, followed by a ten-day phase-in for a full fleet. The company also offers an API library to link flight operations, finance and HR tools. It has connectors for data exchange with makers such as Airbus Helicopters and Safran Engines.
The company has pages for operators, CAMO, MRO Part 145 and military and government users. It also has pages for rotary wing, fixed wing and mixed fleets. Its client and partner list includes Aviation Australia, Susi Air, Vortex Helicopter Services, Aero Mongolia, Euro Atlantic Airways and Phenix Heli-Flight.
