About Aerostrat Software

Aerostrat is a Seattle software company that develops Aerros, a program for planning and managing an airline's or MRO's heavy maintenance programme. Aerostrat was founded in 2015 by software and airline industry veterans and was acquired by AAR Corp. in August 2025. Aerros is used by airlines and MROs to build detailed maintenance plans, understand the costs behind them and schedule aircraft out of service time.

What Aerros does

  • Builds detailed heavy maintenance plans
  • Budgets and forecasting for material, components and labour
  • Shows stakeholders the maintenance requirements behind each plan
  • Maximises yield on a per task basis to lower the cost of ownership
  • Reduces aircraft out of service time and planning overhead
  • Manages maintenance and operational constraints

Support and onboarding

Aerostrat offers product demos and an evaluation programme for new users, 24/7 customer support, and direct contact with its developers on feature requests. The site lists security information for the platform and a customer support portal.

Markets served

Aerros is aimed at airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisations that run heavy checks. The site describes the software as used by airlines and MROs worldwide.
