About Aerospace Brazil
Aerospace Brazil is the export promotion project of the Brazilian aerospace industry. It is based in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. The project is the brand that presents the Brazilian aerospace supply chain to buyers and partners abroad. Its goal is to raise exports of parts, components, systems and services.
The project is run by the Technology and Innovation Park Sao Jose dos Campos, known as PIT. PIT also coordinates the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster. The work is done under an agreement with ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. The two sides have signed six agreements since 2010. A 2024 to 2026 cycle is under way, with 14 actions completed so far.
The cluster was founded in 2006 and now has more than 150 member companies. They work in aeronautics, space, defence, MRO and drones. They range from parts makers to engineering firms, and that companies of all sizes can join. The supply chain grew around Embraer in Sao Jose dos Campos. It brings together suppliers that work under the quality and certification rules of the aerospace industry. They can serve OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers at different stages of the supply chain.
One of the main services is the Brazil Pavilion. PIT organises a shared Brazilian space at major aerospace trade shows, such as Farnborough, the Paris Air Show and the Dubai Airshow. Visitors can meet Brazilian companies there under the Aerospace Brazil brand.
It has a directory of cluster companies that can be browsed by segment, state or capability. Foreign delegations can ask for business meetings with chosen companies, either in person at PIT, at a trade show or online. A form for international buyers to share their needs is listed as coming soon.
ApexBrasil supports the effort with prospecting and trade missions, business rounds, help for Brazilian firms at trade shows and visits by foreign buyers to Brazil. The cluster is also a founding member of the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership, an international network of aerospace clusters. The company publishes news on trade shows, partnerships and the Brazilian aerospace industry in English and Portuguese.
