Aeroclúster de Querétaro

Aeroclúster de Querétaro is an aerospace industry cluster association in Querétaro, Mexico. Its stated purpose is to strengthen the aerospace industry so the sector grows in a sustainable and complete way. It works as a civil association for companies in the sector.

The association reports more than 60 members. It says it has been active as a civil association for more than 10 years and has a presence in four states. Its members employ over 10,000 people, and the group reports 1.43 billion US dollars in sales from its members. The members offer more than 355 products and services, and women make up 27 percent of the workforce. The association lists its values as collaboration, commitment, innovation and competitiveness.

Training is a main service. The AeroSupplier Excellence diploma is for current and potential suppliers to the aerospace industry. It offers 100 hours of specialised training in 10 practical modules, taught in a hybrid format by aerospace experts. Graduates get a certificate with curricular value. The course runs from October 2026 to April 2027. It helps suppliers master processes and certifications, improve competitiveness, widen their contacts and prepare for new business.

The association also runs shorter courses. Current listings include an AS9100D practical workshop with a diagnostic, a SolidWorks course to prepare for the CSWP certification, and a course on the basics of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing under ASME Y14.5-2018. It also offers an advanced experimental high-power rocketry course held in Colón, Querétaro.

Members describe the association as a key ally for building links within the aeronautical sector and with government bodies. One member says it helped find fast answers to the needs of the aerospace industry. Another says joint training programmes for special process specialists strengthened its ties with regional aerospace customers.
