Aero SM

Aero SM is an aerospace consulting company in La Rinconada, near Seville, Spain. It helps aerospace and defence suppliers with strategy, business development and sales. The company is run by its owner and founder, who has more than 30 years of experience in international aeronautics.

Aero SM helps suppliers reach new markets. It designs strategies for entering international markets and opens a supplier's skills to customers in market segments it had not considered. It works at every level of the aerospace market, including OEMs, Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers and MRO companies.

The company acts as an extension of the sales team for makers, suppliers and designers of new products and solutions. It finds key customers for a client's products. It also helps clients reach large accounts, with support along the way.

During sales talks, Aero SM gives guidance on requests for quotation and contract reviews. It also guides clients through other negotiations. It supports them through certification, and on to series deliveries. Another service is the study of possible strategic partners and alliances with customers. Aero SM also helps national and international clients expand by targeting key players in aerospace.

Aero SM runs training courses at the customer's own site. A typical course lasts 40 hours over five days of eight hours, and is taught by qualified industry experts. Topics include composite manufacture and repair, managing and qualifying surface treatment lines, NDT tests and aeronautical painting, and managing and qualifying aeronautical quality.

The company has received European Regional Development Fund support through the Seville Chamber of Commerce. This paid for its corporate website and online marketing plan in 2022, and an internationalisation plan in 2023.
