Rotate, an air cargo consultancy and data company, has launched Rotate Compliance. It is a screening platform made for air cargo teams. The company announced it on 27 October 2026.

Rotate Compliance checks the parties in a shipment against sanctions lists. It also looks at the goods, the flight routing and other details. Rotate says this gives more accurate results and fewer false alarms.

Built with cargo airlines

The product is being developed with cargo teams at several large airlines. General availability is expected in the first quarter of 2027. Testing has already started with a major all-cargo carrier, using real air waybill data.

It is the first Rotate product for cargo operations. Until now, the company's software served commercial and strategy decisions. Earlier this year Rotate took over the Cargo Intelligence software of the former Dutch software provider Pandora Intelligence. It is now rebuilding that software on a newer tech stack.

What it aims to fix

  • Better matching. Names are checked together with shipment details, not on their own.
  • Speed. Teams have little time between a booking and the flight. The tool streams live messages and guides due diligence steps.
  • Cost. Rotate says its lean setup allows competitive prices as volumes grow.

Fabien Balouzet, Rotate's head of product, said his team watched analysts at work and saw that most of their time went to proving a shipment was not a problem.

Next on the plan are links to cargo management systems and a version for freight forwarders.
