Wells Aircraft, Inc. is a full service FBO and Cirrus service shop at Hutchinson Regional Airport (KHUT), 800 Airport Road, Hutchinson, Kansas. The company says it has been in business for over 70 years. The current owner, Don, bought it in 2006, and in 2007 it became a Platinum Authorized Cirrus Service Center. Wells also runs the Branson West Jet Center FBO at Branson West Municipal Airport (KFWB) in Missouri.

Cirrus services

The website says the shop has worked only on Cirrus aircraft since 2008 and describes itself as the only authorized Cirrus service center in Kansas and a Midwest Platinum center. It names a 2025 Mid-Market Authorized Service Center of the Year award from Cirrus. Work covers every generation of the SR line: annual and 100 hour inspections, oil changes, airworthiness directive and service bulletin compliance, and general repairs. Mechanics are factory trained and the shop holds genuine Cirrus parts from the factory, with online ordering. Pilot services include collecting and returning aircraft. The company also helps match Cirrus buyers and sellers, with pre-buy inspections and demo flights with a local Cirrus sales representative. Quote requests get a reply within two business days. FBO and line service

The Hutchinson FBO offers Jet A and 100LL, including 100LL self serve. Prices published on 12 October 2026 were Jet A US$8.27, 100LL US$8.71 and 100LL self serve US$8.17 per gallon. The company is a CAA Preferred FBO. Quick turns are quoted at 15 minutes or less. There is a pilot lounge with Wi-Fi, a flight planning station, overnight hangar space for aircraft up to a Falcon 20, long term storage by quote, a courtesy car for short trips with a fuel purchase, and help with hotels, rental cars and catering. Washing and detailing are available on request. Charter is also listed on the site.

Hutchinson hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm and weekends 8 am to 5 pm. The Branson West FBO is open daily 8 am to 5 pm and has Jet A, 24 hour self serve 100LL, hangar space, a crew car, pilot sleeping quarters and a pilot shop.
