Vertical Magazine

Vertical Magazine is a trade publication and news website for the helicopter industry. It is the insider publication for the civil helicopter industry in North America. The magazine is published six times per year.

The magazine covers operator profiles, industry reports, flight test profiles, maintenance articles, product reviews, and avionics and industry news. Its stories are written by people working in the helicopter industry, with a frontline view of the news.

Vertical 911 launched in 2008. It is the industry's first helicopter magazine devoted to first responders in emergency medical services, law enforcement, fire and search and rescue. It is published four times per year and covers parapublic news, product reports and real rescues.

The magazine also covers military rotorcraft through its Valor section, along with eVTOL news and Insight profiles. Its HeliTrader marketplace lists helicopters for sale. Other sections include features, opinions, press releases and the Blades of Valor series.

It carries daily news, features, personality profiles, a photo of the week, wallpapers, calendars, video and podcasts. It also sends a daily newsletter and a weekly Sunday Review email.

The company says its magazine informs decision makers about trends, technologies and issues that affect their operations and careers. Those readers include government personnel, managers and flight operations staff.
