Flight training

The school offers recreational, private and commercial licences, theory courses for PPL(H) and CPL(H), class and type ratings, and conversion licences for civilian and overseas pilots. It also provides endorsements and ratings including sling, low level, mustering and aerial fire application, plus English language proficiency testing. Utility Helicopters keeps a limited student intake and says it is one of the few companies in Queensland that can handle an entire licence, covering theory, flying and testing. Flight reviews and endorsements can also be done on location around Australia.

Scenic flights

Scenic flights run from Brisbane, marketed on its site under the name Brisbane Helicopters. Listed options include a Moreton Island Adventure over Stradbroke Island, Moreton Island and the Tangalooma wrecks, a Gold Coast flight, and custom experiences. Each is listed at 60 minutes for up to three passengers. A door to door service is available where there is room for a safe landing.
