Trego-Dugan Aviation

Trego Dugan Aviation, also called TDA, is a family owned aviation business based in North Platte, Nebraska. It is a family of companies. They offer air cargo, airline ground handling, aircraft acquisition, aircraft maintenance and avionics, jet management, private jet charter and FBO services. An FBO is a base that serves private aircraft.

The site names five core services. They are air cargo, airline ground handling, FBO, maintenance and avionics, and private jet charter. The company says its services help keep people and products moving. It says its teams work around the clock.

The story began on a cattle ranch in Nebraska. Gary Trego was born in North Platte in 1937. He served in the United States Navy and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He then returned to the family ranch in Sutherland. He loved flying, so he built a grass runway on the ranch and gave flying lessons.

Trego Aviation, Inc. was founded by Gary and Terry Trego in 1970. It began as a family owned and managed flight school, FBO and maintenance business. Gary and Terry led the company for 24 years. In the early 1990s their son-in-law, Vincent Dugan, and daughter, Traci, joined the company. It then became Trego Dugan Aviation.

Vincent Dugan is now President. Traci is Vice President of Flight and Air Cargo Logistics. The company says it grew from a single FBO with 8 employees. Today it reports a footprint across the whole United States and thousands of team members.

The company says safety and security come first in its work. It calls its people the heart of the business. It says it wants every team member to feel valued. Its stated vision is to build a brand name linked with excellence.

The Trego Dugan Aviation website has a page on the company history and pages for each service. It also has a careers section with job openings and announcements, and a contact page for requests.
