About Think Research

Think Research is an independent aviation consultancy. It helps airports, air navigation service providers, regulators and other partners improve airspace, safety, simulation and operations. The company was founded in 2004 and works with clients in more than 40 countries on six continents.

Its main services include concept development, procurement and analytics. Concept development guides air navigation providers through replacing an air traffic management system, either in part or in full. Procurement support runs from technical requirements to tender work. The company's procurement page lists steps such as need identification, market assessment, tender preparation, tender management and delivery review. It follows OJEU or UK procurement routes and uses principles from EOCVM.

Analytics helps airports and traffic management groups understand their operations and make better decisions. The company also works on simulation, validation, safety assessment and aircraft performance studies. Case studies include air traffic control readiness for a new airport in Africa, runway capacity with time-based spacing on final approach, and a SESAR study on European airspace.

Client comments on the site come from Gatwick Airport, EUROCONTROL and Bournemouth Airport. The company has offices in Bournemouth, Farnborough, Qatar and Athens. The leadership list includes Rob Waggitt as ATM Director, Colin Smith as NATS Director, Conor Mullan as Managing Director and Steve Leighton as Airports Director.

The company says its ethos is clarity, simplicity and value. The website has a contact form, a phone number in the United Kingdom, a LinkedIn link and a careers page.
