Star Work Sky S.r.l.

Star Work Sky is an Italian helicopter operator headquartered in Strevi, in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont. The company was founded in 1981 by the Subrero family, starting with an Alouette II used mostly for agricultural work, and grew into firefighting and a wide range of other helicopter missions.

Fleet

The fleet page describes 16 light utility helicopters from Airbus Helicopters in three types: the twin-engine EC135 T3 (H135), the single-engine AS350 B3 Squirrel and the SA315B Lama. The company says it was the first in the world to operate the EC135 T3.

• Strevi (Alessandria): headquarters and main base since 2010, with a helipad, hangars, an avionics workshop and a training classroom
• Alghero, Sardinia: secondary base, opened in 2008
• Laion/Pontives, Bolzano province: operational base used for helicopter rescue with Aiut Alpin Dolomites, a service the site says completes more than 700 missions per year
