The family story starts in 1949, when Jesus Mesta founded the firm to make jeans. It earned a name in upholstery and sold to the USA and Europe. In 2006 the second generation brothers, Jesus and Javier Mesta, created SOISA Aircraft Interiors. The company became AS9100 certified and turned fully to aerospace. A third generation of the family now runs it.

The product list begins with laminated dress covers. The company can work with leather, fabric and synthetic leather. It makes custom designs and also does repair jobs.
