SkyEagle Aviation Academy

SkyEagle Aviation Academy is a flight school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is a Part 141 school approved by the FAA and by SEVIS for international students. The school says it was set up in July 2010. It trains students from many countries, from their first lessons to a commercial pilot license.

The school uses its own fleet of single-engine and multi-engine aircraft. Aircraft named on the site include the Tecnam Echo MkII, the Tecnam P92 and the ICON A5 seaplane. It also has an A320 flight training device. It says its planes are well maintained and have modern avionics.

Programs include the Professional Pilot Program, which runs 6 to 8 months. The Airline Career Pilot Program goes from zero to ATPL in 12 to 15 months. There is also an accelerated pilot program, a commercial pilot course, CFI, CFII and MEI courses, and an ATP CTP course. Basic training includes private pilot, instrument rating, helicopter and multi-engine courses. The school also runs an ICON A5 seaplane course and a weekend ground school for the FAA private pilot knowledge exam. An introductory flight costs 280 dollars. A joint EASA ATPL and FAA commercial pilot course is also offered.

Financing is offered for some programs. International students can get help with housing, car rental, airport transfers and visas. The site gives a pass rate of 87.5 percent.
