Skeeter Enterprises LLC is an aerospace manufacturing company in Wilmington, United States, that makes portable above-ground-level (AGL) altimeters for general aviation pilots under the Stadia name, with a stated focus on products for personal adventure and waterfowl conservation. The company is run by Sean "Skeeter" Sherman, its owner, chief executive, lead engineer and production chief, who grew up flying bush planes in Alaska, graduated from the University of North Dakota with a mechanical engineering degree and served four years as a US Air Force officer working as an engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory before starting the business.

Stadia

• Infrared LIDAR altimeter that measures height above ground to within inches and gives clear audio alerts, designed to solve the lack of accurate AGL information for general aviation pilots, especially on final approach
• Rechargeable battery power and no permanent mounting hardware, so no aircraft modification or A and P involvement is needed; the device straps to a hardpoint such as a wing strut and is treated as a temporary attachment outside 14 CFR Part 43
• Model A for Cub-style wing struts from 1-5/32 to 1-3/4 inch thick, Model B for Cessna-style struts from 1-3/4 to 2-3/8 inch, and Model L for aircraft with tie-down rings or other attachment points

Stadia Neptune

• A radar altimeter developed specifically to help floatplane pilots with glassy water landings, building on the original LIDAR model
• Works over both land and water surfaces, giving seaplane, bush plane and general aviation pilots AGL awareness on approach
