About Roxel
Roxel is a Franco-British group that designs, develops, manufactures and sells solid propulsion systems and related equipment for rockets and tactical and cruise missiles used by air, sea and ground forces. A wholly owned subsidiary of MBDA, it operates in France, with headquarters at Le Plessis-Robinson near Paris, and in the United Kingdom at Kidderminster. Roxel describes itself as a European leader in tactical propulsion and the world leader in insensitive munitions technology for minimum smoke propellants. Revenue was about 200 million euros in 2024.

History
The group was founded in February 2003 through the merger of the French company Celerg, itself a 1992 joint venture of SNPE and Aerospatiale, with Royal Ordnance Rocket Motors, a division of BAE Systems. In May 2008 Protac, a French designer and manufacturer of missile and rocket motors formed in 1994 from the propulsion activities of Thomson Brandt Armements and Bayern-Chemie, joined Roxel. The group has supplied customers in South America, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and North America.
