RotorPart

RotorPart is a helicopter parts company with facilities in Abingdon, Virginia, in the United States, and in North Elmham, Norfolk, in the United Kingdom. It started in December 2020 and carries thousands of line items in stock. Its stated goal is to streamline the traditional spare part purchasing process so that ordering a part is simple and convenient, with as much transparency as possible.

Products

The online store lists helicopter components by part number. Items currently featured on the site include an adapter, a dialer, a fuel nozzle, a fuel quantity unit, a yaw rate gyro, a linear actuator and a VHF comm and control unit. The featured listings show prices from 1,250 to 4,950 US dollars, and all of them are marked as sold out at the time of writing, so buyers should enquire about current availability.

How RotorPart works

The company says it will always try to under promise and over deliver on quality, and that it discloses all information known to it about a part. It states that it will never claim to have a part that is not actually in its inventory in order to make a sale. It names customer service, transparency and timeliness as its three promises.

Policies

RotorPart publishes a warranty policy, a refund policy, terms of service and a privacy policy on its website, and a page of useful aviation web links. The site also carries a news blog.
