RAIDER Targetry
Mobile moving target systems for live-fire training
About RAIDER Targetry
RAIDER Targetry is an Australian company that designs and manufactures mobile moving target systems for live fire training. Its line is we move, you shoot. The company describes itself as veteran co-owned.
RAIDER won the SME of the Year award at the Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards in both 2024 and 2025. The company has also joined the Veteran Employment Commitment as a Veteran Employment Supporter.
Its Mobile Moving Target System is a day and night combined arms target system. It adds moving elements to live fire or live simulation training. The self propelled, electric system can reach speeds approaching 40 km/h. It ships in a 20-foot container and can be set up in under two hours by two trained operators.
The product range includes ATTLAS, AutoStatic actuated targets, the Deployed Improved Target, free standing kits, thermal signatures, RAIDERFlute, and the Projectile Locating System. The locating system gives real time and after action feedback that captures every round fired.
The company says its signatures are customisable for visual, thermal, radar and electronic warfare use. They suit smart ammunition and close air support training. Its all weather systems remain serviceable and reusable after thousands of impacts. Lightweight designs often remove the need for ground preparation.
The targetry ecosystem scales from 1x to 100x. The site says its systems are in service across the Australian environment, with state and private customers. RAIDER also supports defence and military technology OEMs with designs it describes as sophisticated and dependable.
The Australian headquarters team works across the full technology readiness range, from new concepts to enhancing existing capabilities. The company says its products are 100% Australian designed. It is ISO certified for quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
