Proponent Battery Services GmbH

Proponent Battery Services GmbH is based in Moerfelden-Walldorf, near Frankfurt Airport in Germany. It supplies aircraft batteries and spare parts and services batteries for aviation and industrial customers in more than 50 countries. The company was formerly D+C Airparts Battery in Europe GmbH, was incorporated in Frankfurt in 1979, and has been part of the Proponent group since 2017. It took its current name in 2023.

• Aircraft batteries and spares from SAFT, Marathon, Hawker and Concorde, plus Gill aircraft batteries
• Battery test equipment developed by the company, including the DC-CA1000 charger and analyzer, DC-800 battery filler, DC-700 temperature sensor test unit, DC-600 vent valve test unit and DC-CTC24 and DC-TC60 chargers
• Battery shop accessories, fire extinguishers, FUELSTAT and rotorcraft filtration products

Services

Services include MRO work, AOG battery services, battery shop setup and aircraft battery training given by its technical inspectors at the German site. It also serves industrial, UPS and solar customers.
