Intercopter

Intercopter GmbH is an EASA approved Part 145 maintenance organisation for rotary wing aircraft. The company was founded in 2003. Its approval number is DE.145.0126. It is also an approved EASA Part 21G Production Organisation.

The main site is in Taufkirchen near Munich, on the Airbus Group premises. The company has run it since 2010. A second base is at the Emden airfield. Intercopter also operates maintenance stations in Oberpfaffenhofen, and line maintenance stations in Borkum, Helgoland, Norden-Norddeich and Memmingerberg.

Intercopter maintains helicopters made by Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopters and Leonardo Helicopters. The types include the Agusta A109 E/S and AW109SP, the AS 350 series and H130, the AS 355 N and NP, the BK 117 C1 to D3, the EC 120B, the EC 135 series, the EC 155 B1 and the Bell 206 and 407 series.

Maintenance services include all inspections required by the manufacturer or the authority. The company also repairs airframes, engines and equipment, and repairs interior panelling. It makes changes under STCs and service bulletins, troubleshoots faults and installs mission equipment. Avionics checks follow the approved maintenance programme.

Engine work covers the Allison and Rolls-Royce 250 series, the Pratt and Whitney PW206 and PW207 series, limited to maintenance, and the Turbomeca Arrius and Arriel series. Component work includes battery maintenance, emergency float maintenance for the AS 350, AS 355 and EC 135, and main rotor heads for the BO105 and BK117 series.

Part 21G production covers parts such as cabin equipment, furnishings and DC power distribution systems. Other services include pre-purchase inspections, boroscope inspections, weighing and balancing, oil inspections, fuel system leak testing, pitot-static testing, special tool rental and spare part trade.

Intercopter is part of the HTM Group. HTM Helicopter Travel Munich GmbH owns it fully. The group was founded in Munich in 1997. It also runs a helicopter service provider, an approved training organisation, and services such as offshore wind farm work, aerial film work, fire-fighting flights and passenger and cargo transport. The company became a ZODIAC authorised repair station in 2013. It started in Ottensoos near Nuremberg in 2003. It publishes its capability list and approval certificates as PDF downloads on its website.
