About Phoenix East Aviation

Phoenix East Aviation, also called PEA, is a flight school in Daytona Beach, Florida. The school trains pilots from many countries. Its site says it has trained pilots for more than 50 years. The main campus sits at Daytona Beach International Airport.

PEA has three locations in Florida. The main campus is at Daytona Beach International Airport. A satellite facility in Ft Lauderdale is where PEA is the flight training provider for Broward College. An auxiliary facility in Flagler Beach focuses on accelerated training.

The school has a large fleet. The about page says it has more than 70 aircraft, including C-172s and PA-34s. It also has a Super Decathlon for upset recovery training.

PEA offers several training tracks. The standard track follows a normal pace. The accelerated program finishes training on a shorter timeline. The educational route combines flight training with a college degree. The school also lists career pathways for students who want to fly for airlines.

The school holds national accreditation and has its own self-examining authority. The site says PEA is one of only four flight schools authorized to offer F-1 visas to international students. It also names partnerships with airlines and affiliates.

Students can apply online through the admissions page. The site lists the phone number +1-386-258-0703. Staff reply during business hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm Eastern time. The campus address is 561 Pearl Harbor Drive, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. The site also has a student payment portal and a blog with newsletters.
