Northern Avionics

Northern Avionics was founded in 1993 at Linate Airport in Milan, Italy. It started as an avionics service center for private civil aviation and has added approvals and its own products over the years. Today it supplies in-flight entertainment and cabin management equipment for airline and VIP customers and does installation and maintenance work on airplanes and helicopters.

• WAvES in-flight entertainment and cabin management platform
• WAvES seat-back monitors in ten sizes from 10.1 to 42.5 inches, with 4K resolution, an optional passenger control unit and a USB charger
• WAvES wireless passenger service system for retrofits, with wireless control units, USB chargers, call lights and reading lights
• WAvES MicroCell for installations with little space, such as VIP helicopters and smaller corporate jets
• WAvES Bluetooth server that sends one audio stream to many headsets
• WAvES cockpit panel that lets pilots control the system
• In-seat USB power, first deployed across a Boeing 767 cabin in 2018
