Focused on issues such as aviation safety, operational efficiency, fair and equal access, FAA reform, noise and compatible land use, peak hour landing fees, reliever airports, air support, air traffic control modernization, product liability reform, research and development, business aviation advocacy and various tax issues.

International Leadership:

At forefront of international issues such as international aviation policy and improvement and standardization of global air traffic systems.

NBAA Charities raises funds to support philanthropic organizations and initiatives using general aviation airplanes for humanitarian purposes including Corporate Angel Network, Angel Flight, Combat Veterans Airlift.

Leadership & Governance:

Led by Board of Directors (up to 19 members), team of experienced senior executives, continuing guidance provided by network of Councils, Standing Committees and Strategic Focus Teams.

Advisory Council established as standing committee in 1973 advising Board of Directors on Business Member interests, government representation, industry programs, communication efforts, educational initiatives.

Leadership Council significantly strengthens association reinforcing mission as organization committed to promoting environment fostering business aviation.

Standing Committees made up of committed, talented, knowledgeable volunteers working together on behalf of NBAA members to promote business aviation safety, access, professional development, operational excellence and security.

Strategic Focus Teams (SFTs) created in 2005 to boost efficiency and impact of NBAA’s 13 committees while opening new and clearer communication channels with Board of Directors.
