MK Industries

MK Industries (MKI) is an aviation asset and gas turbine engine parts company headquartered in Mentor, Ohio. The company says it has operated since 2001 and that its team has 65 years of combined experience. MKI began in maintenance, repair and overhaul, then expanded into the surplus market and into inventory and asset management. It reports managing more than 50,000 line items of aircraft inventory. Its newer facility in Mentor is 10,000 square feet and holds components under secured conditions with traceable paperwork and records.

• Inventory consignment, intended to lower a customer's overall inventory cost
• Engine shop visit support, with component inventory obtained from approved manufacturers, airlines, surplus providers, consignment stock and disassembled engine modules and engines
• Full set management, which coordinates the overhaul, repair, modification or inspection of an engine set and makes sure replacements are available for non-repairable parts, so a customer can budget and keep the engine build schedule
• Military and government work through MEAK Solutions, a veteran owned business integrated with MK Industries

MKI has focused on North America, the Pacific Rim and Europe, and is expanding worldwide. Customers include airlines, OEMs, MROs, repair facilities and surplus providers.

Quality

All parts received go through incoming inspection and a documentation review for airworthiness and traceability, and parts sold go through a pre-delivery inspection. Historical documentation is supplied on request. MK Industries has met the Aviation Suppliers Association ASA-100 standard and FAA Advisory Circular 00-56, and uses Quantum Control for inventory.
