Million Air Richmond

Million Air Richmond is a locally owned FBO, charter and maintenance company in Richmond, Virginia, at 400 Portugee Road. Stockholder Mark Cooke has been involved since the company started in 1992. President Gene McDonough began his aviation career in 1969 and holds Airline Transport Pilot, A&P and Inspection Authorization credentials.

Services

The FAA approved repair station holds Class 3 airframe and engine ratings plus ratings for Lear 20 and 30 series, Beechjet and Citation 500 series aircraft, and its mechanics all hold A&P licenses. The shop works on aircraft from single-engine pistons to airliners and is a Cirrus Authorized Service Center. The avionics shop holds Class 1 and Class 2 Radio and Limited Specialized Services ratings and handles navigation, communication and entertainment systems and RVSM inspections. On-call service is available after hours, on weekends and holidays, and off site.

FBO and facilities

The FBO is open 24 hours a day and has over 72,000 square feet of heated hangar space, including a corporate hangar with private offices, lobby and parking. Services include:

• Aircraft detailing, lav service, GPU and Type I and IV de-icing
• Crew and passenger lounges, a snooze room, conference room and flight planning room
• Crew and rental cars, catering and hotel reservations

Million Air Richmond holds an ARG/US Platinum rating for its charter operation and NATA Safety 1st training. It also helps companies select, acquire and manage aircraft.
