Medavia

Medavia is an aviation company based at Safi Aviation Park in Safi, Malta. It began in 1978 as Mediterranean Aviation Company Limited. It was set up as a link between Europe and the remote airfields of the oil and gas industries in Northern Africa.

Its maintenance organisation, called the MRO, works on Dash 8 Classic, Q-Series, and ATR 42 and 72 aircraft. Work includes heavy maintenance, cabin refurbishment, composite and structure repairs, modifications, painting, aircraft weighing and engine runs. The hangars are in Malta.
