About MAC Aviation

MAC Aviation, also written MACAV, is a line maintenance company. It is based at London Stansted Airport in Essex, in the United Kingdom, and also lists an Oxford line station. It focuses on the Bombardier family of aircraft, mainly the Global Express and Challenger.

The company offers fixed cost monthly maintenance packages, ad hoc line support and global aircraft on ground recovery. It says it can help with one-off approvals and with future support for operations and maintenance. The site refers readers to its approval listing.

The company says it was recently founded as MACAV Ltd, but its staff have experience from established firms and manufacturers since the 1980s. It says its engineers are licensed and type rated. The team includes former field service staff, operations officers and commercial MRO staff.

The aircraft it supports include the CL30, CL35, CL60, CL601, CL604, CL605 and CL650. They also include the Global Express, XRS, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000, 7500, 8000 and 8500. It also names Gulfstream G5, G6 and G7 types. A coming soon list covers Gulfstream GIV-X and GV-SP, Embraer EMB-135 and 145, and more Bombardier types, with differences courses.

The site shows a separate email for Part 147 training. It has a contact form that asks for the aircraft type and location.
