LUMINAIR

LUMINAIR is a private jet charter airline based in Hamburg, Germany. It flies business jets for clients who want flexible, around the clock service. It operates its own fleet of Dassault Falcon and Cessna Citation aircraft.

The company was founded on 1 January 2024 by four people with long careers in business aviation. They had earlier built sales and operations teams at Air Hamburg. LUMINAIR received its air operator certificate on 1 November 2024 and flew its first flight two days later. The site marks its 1,000th flight on 30 July 2025.

The fleet has 13 aircraft. The Dassault Falcon 7X offers intercontinental range, and its first Falcon 7X flight took place in March 2026. The Falcon 900LX is the flagship, carrying up to 14 passengers, with unlimited WiFi on board. The Citation Latitude is a super midsize jet, and the Citation XLS and XLS+ offer a spacious cabin. In April 2026 the company announced an order for nine Cessna Citation Latitudes, with deliveries beginning in 2026.

LUMINAIR says it is available 24 hours a day and is fully committed to brokers. Other features include pet-friendly flights and approval to carry dangerous goods under ICAO Technical Instructions and IATA rules. It is a member of the Air Charter Association.

The business has grown fast. The company lists 179 employees from 35 nationalities, with an average age of 39. The team grew by 200 percent in 12 months, passing 50 employees in August 2025 and 100 in December 2025.

LUMINAIR also offers private jet owners an asset management model built on high use of each aircraft. It presents this as a steady return for owner partners. The company includes investor, press and careers sections, and clients can ask for a quote online.
