About KLM Flight Academy

KLM Flight Academy is the flight school of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. It is based at Groningen Airport Eelde in the north of the Netherlands. The academy trains young people to become airline pilots in about two years. The school traces its history to 1946.

Applicants go through an admission check and a selection process. The academy is also a CBR exam location for commercial aviation theory exams.

Simulator training

The academy offers full flight simulator training on KLM's simulators at Schiphol for pilots who hold at least an EASA CPL. It specialises in type rating revalidations and renewals.
