Jet Center Medford is an independently operated FBO, maintenance and avionics company at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport in Medford, Oregon. Elmont George and his brother Ralph opened Southern Oregon Skyways, Inc. at Ashland Municipal Airport in 1967. A Medford location opened in 1982 and became the base for the whole operation, which does business as Jet Center Medford and is still owned by the George family.

Services

Jet Center Medford is an FAA Part 145 repair station (GCPR185E) with Airframe Class 1 and 3, Radio Class 1 and 2, Accessory Class 2 and limited ratings. It is an authorized service center for Beechcraft, Cessna and Cirrus and works on piston, turboprop and jet aircraft in a 20,000 square foot climate-controlled hangar. Work includes:

Inspections, pre-purchase inspections and repairs, with free detailing included with any inspection
CAPS parachute and rocket replacement and factory-trained composite repair
Avionics installation, upgrades, testing and RVSM work in a separate avionics facility
Paint repair and exterior restoration, NDT testing and air conditioning service
AOG mobile response teams

The in-house parts department has operated for more than 30 years and stocks parts in 2,000 square feet of storage.

FBO and facilities

The FBO has pilot and passenger lounges, a meeting room, showers, rental cars, a courtesy vehicle, bicycles and hangar storage handled by a NATA Safety First certified team. Jet Center is also a certified Oregon aircraft dealer and offers aircraft management.
