Isocom

Isocom Components is a United Kingdom manufacturer of infrared optoelectronic devices, specialising in optocouplers and optoswitches. Its site says the business is more than 40 years old, carries over 3,500 part types, and offers both branded and custom solutions. It describes flexible manufacturing processes that give short production lead times for many parts.

Products

• Optocouplers: optically isolated devices that transfer signals between circuits while keeping them protected
• Optoswitches: integrated emitter and detector pairs for non-contact sensing, position detection and motion interruption
• Solid-state relays: optically isolated electronic relays that switch AC or DC loads without mechanical contacts
• Gate drivers: optically isolated drivers for MOSFET and IGBT gates in power switching
• Automotive-grade optocouplers tested to AEC-Q102, announced for September 2026, plus automotive solid-state relays and high voltage battery management isolation parts

Approach

Isocom positions itself as an alternative source to popular commercial optocoupler industry standard types, including many types that other manufacturers no longer supply, and offers drop-in replacements. Parts are approved to recognised industry standards and are available in several lead forms and in tape and reel packaging. The company also does special customer requirements on request.

Events

Isocom is listed as an exhibitor at Small Satellite Conference 2027, SmallSat Symposium 2027, Space Tech Expo USA 2027, Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 and SATELLITE 2027.
