IDRF e.V.

IDRF e.V. is a German group of regional airfields. Its name in German is Interessengemeinschaft der regionalen Flugplätze. The site says it brings together more than 70 regional airports and regional airfields, plus several aviation firms from Germany and Europe. The member count shown is 80.

The group runs training courses. These include courses for air traffic supervision staff under the German rule NfL I-170/01, with sessions held at City Airport Mannheim. The site says the courses are approved by the authorities. It also sells Aviation Medical Training 1, a course on medical emergencies in business aviation. The course takes eight hours in person plus online preparation. It is aimed at cabin crew, flight crew, corporate flight departments and business aviation operators. The price shown is between 250 and 290 euros before tax, with a lower rate for members. The site says the course meets all relevant EASA needs.

Members can also post offers on the site. One example is a fixed 22 kW charging unit from Skycharge. The site has a news section with items such as the opening speech for the 20 year anniversary of the group and a review of the ILA 2026 air show in Berlin. It also has a newsletter sign up.

The website has a job board for aviation roles at member airfields. Open roles include an air traffic safety technician in Oberpfaffenhofen, a manager for the Hildesheim airfield and an AFIS officer for the Bayreuth airfield. Kassel Airport lists a training place for air traffic controllers.
