ICARE

ICARE is an aeronautical training centre in Morlaix, Brittany, France, specialising in regional aircraft training for airlines and aviation professionals. It was created in 1991 as the approved training organisation of Brit'Air, the French regional airline headquartered in Morlaix, and over more than 30 years has become a reference for pilot, cabin crew and technician training. ICARE is an EASA certified Approved Training Organisation (FR.ATO.0006) for flight crew and a Maintenance Training Organisation (FR.147.0014) for Part-147 aircraft maintenance training, and welcomes non-EASA customers whose regulators have other requirements.

• Pilot type ratings on regional aircraft and, since 2023, on the Airbus A320 family, following the acquisition of an A320 Level D full flight simulator covering CEO and NEO variants, with an integrated MCC option

Equipment

Training equipment includes full flight simulators, flight management system trainers, mock-ups, a graphical flight-deck simulator and computer-based training, used by experienced instructors and examiners. Because ICARE owns its simulators it can schedule daytime slots, which trainees quoted on the site say improves concentration and reduces fatigue. Testimonials describe consistent pairing of trainees, the same instructor throughout a course, base training scheduled in the week after the skill test and demanding but supportive instruction.

Memberships

ICARE is a member of the European Regions Airline Association and is supported by the Brittany region. It launched a redesigned website in 2026 for trainees and partners.

ICARE appears in the exhibitor lists of France Air Expo 2027, the Paris Air Show 2027 and Pilot Expo 2027.
