Halo Aviation

Halo Aviation is a helicopter charter company established in 2009 and now part of the Flexjet group. Its office is at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire and it keeps helicopters at bases around London, in the south of England, the Midlands and the Channel Islands. The fleet is made up of twin engine Leonardo helicopters: AW109E and AW109SP models with five or six seats, and AW169 models with seven or eight seats. The company says its helicopters cruise at over 180 mph, and the twin engines allow flights over built up areas, water and in poorer weather. Halo flies private and business charters, including transfers between London and regional airports, Formula 1 and motorsport events, and the main horse race meetings in the UK. It has flown heads of government from several countries. It also runs a Farnborough shuttle service and gives advice to people buying a helicopter.
