About GM&T

GM&T International 2000 is an aviation supply and paint company in Bucharest, Romania. It describes itself as proudly serving East Europe. Its main work is aircraft paint mixing, aircraft products distribution and painting for small aircraft and helicopters.

The company mixes and packs aviation paint. It says the work began more than 15 years ago and has covered thousands of batches without a fail. One project was built with Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings. Interior paints include Akzo FR2-55 and Mapaero FRS-40. Exterior paints for commercial aircraft include Aviox, Eclipse, Alumigrip, Aerodur and Aerobase. Military exterior paints come in gloss, semigloss and matt. The minimum order is one liter, and some paints can be filled into 250 ml aerosols.

The company cuts tapes to customer orders in a project it built with 3M. It also paints small aircraft and helicopters. A painting job on helicopters was done together with Elbit. The company shows a light plane called Pretty Flight that the company built.

It is an approved aircraft products distributor. The approval is DPA 1-11 from the Romanian Airworthiness Authority. The company also lists EN 9120. It says it holds a stock worth over 2 million euro. The company shows brands such as Akzo Nobel, Mobil, Chemetall, Bostik, CRC, AeroShell, 3M, Loctite, Dupont, Dow and Tesa.

A wider list of services is offered on request. It includes chemicals distribution, urgent and AOG deliveries, IATA packing, color matching and color measurement, and materials and color tests. It also offers training and demonstrations, foil converting, packaging and labeling, and kitting.

The company says it has trained its staff in mixing paints, cutting tapes, painting aircraft, testing and IATA packing. Its stated aim is to see itself as a business partner and to find a fast solution. It also says it wants to stay a green company despite handling many chemicals.
