Global Load Control
Centralised load control and remote aviation services, part of the Lufthansa Group

About Global Load Control
Global Load Control (GLC) is a provider of remote aviation services, founded in 2004 in Cape Town, South Africa, and part of the Lufthansa Group. What began as a small team of German-speaking agents serving a single airline has grown into a global operation that represents more than 15 airlines, including passenger carriers, freighter operators and ground handlers across low-cost and full-service segments, and serves more than 450 airports worldwide. Its operational centres are in Cape Town and Belgrade, with further branches in Windhoek and Zanzibar, and it states that it pioneered centralised load control services. The company runs a business continuity and disaster recovery plan that it says has kept services running without interruption for over 20 years.
