Flygprestanda
Aircraft performance software from Sturup Airport near Malmö, Sweden
About Flygprestanda
Flygprestanda develops aviation software that helps operators manage aircraft performance and mass balance. The company has worked in the aviation industry for more than 50 years since 1969. It serves a wide range of customers worldwide including commercial airlines, business jet operators, freighters, and military fleets. Its solutions aim to make flights safer and more cost efficient.
The main product is Guru2, an electronic flight bag application used for runway analysis. Guru2 performs offline takeoff calculations instantly to maximise takeoff weight while reducing engine wear. It includes interactive mass and balance functions and compares flight conditions against current airport data. Users receive alerts when parameters exceed safe limits.
Flygprestanda maintains a Dynamic Airport Database covering more than ten thousand airports around the world. The database contains obstacle data, runway characteristics, and engine failure takeoff procedures. It also processes NOTAMs and is updated daily by experienced airport analysts. Customers can receive updates based on the AIRAC cycle or more frequently if needed.
The database works with major original equipment manufacturer performance software formats. It supports systems from Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer. This makes it suitable for operators that use a mixed fleet. The data includes flight path obstacles, runway length, width, slope, surface details, cable data, and takeoff positions with lineup method.
The company supports over three hundred aircraft types. This range covers business jets such as Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon, regional aircraft like ATR and Embraer, and large airliners from Airbus and Boeing. It also supports turboprops including Pilatus and various Cessna models. Operators can use one provider for multiple aircraft types.
In addition to the Guru2 app, Flygprestanda offers traditional runway analysis charts in hard copy or PDF format. It provides load and trim sheets, driftdown analysis that considers terrain and wind, and customised engine out procedures. These services help operators keep aircraft within safe operating limits while optimising performance.
Flygprestanda holds ISO 9001 certification. Its products comply with EASA and FAA standards. The company focuses on accurate calculations, daily data updates, and integration with PPS CrewBriefing. This ensures pilots and dispatchers have reliable information for every flight.
