About Fisica

Fisica Applied Technologies makes antennas, electromagnetic systems and simulators for defense and aerospace customers in the United States. Its headquarters is in San Leandro, California, and it has a second site in Simi Valley.

Fisica brings together four business units: ATI, Datron, Randtron and Space Vector. Randtron, Datron and ATI have deep engineering roots and once operated within L3Harris Technologies. They were later joined under the Fisica name. The company says its technologies have supported safety, resilience and awareness for defense and aerospace operators for more than half a century.

The company works in four main areas. These are electronic warfare antenna systems, radar and RF antenna technology, ruggedized batteries, and electromagnetic testing and simulation. Its antennas and RF products support radar warning receivers, electronic warfare systems and sensing platforms. They help operators detect and respond to threats in contested settings.

Fisica also builds testing and simulation tools. These help show that critical electronics can survive electromagnetic pulse effects and other extreme conditions. Its antenna systems support communications, radar sensing and signal transmission on air, land, sea and space platforms.

In 2025 Fisica bought Space Vector Corporation. Space Vector was founded in 1969 in Chatsworth, California. It began by building guidance and attitude systems for NASA sounding rocket missions. It later became a supplier of launch vehicle technology and flight hardware for national defense programs.

Space Vector took part in the Conestoga program, which launched the first privately funded rocket to reach space in 1982. It has also supplied systems for missile defense testing and target vehicles. It developed GPS tracking systems used on launch vehicles such as Atlas V and Delta IV. Today it makes avionics, GPS tracking units, RF components and ruggedized batteries for flight termination systems and human space flight.

This addition moves Fisica beyond the electromagnetic field into flight safety, space hardware and power systems. Its customers include the U.S. Space Force, the Air Force and other national security programs. Fisica also welcomes custom engineering requests and partnership enquiries.
