FIBERPRO is a South Korean company that specialises in fiber optic sensors and measurement devices. It says it is Korea's only specialist company for fiber optic sensor technology. It was founded in 1995 at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

The company works in three areas. Its PNT solutions combine inertial navigation, GNSS and anti jamming GNSS to provide positioning, navigation and timing data, even where GNSS is denied or jammed. These serve aerospace, maritime, land and defence applications. Its fiber sensing systems measure temperature, displacement, pressure and acceleration. Its photonic solutions cover optical fiber research and tools for analysing optical components and semiconductor wafers.

The fiber sensing range includes a distributed temperature sensing system that measures real time temperature changes over distances up to 15 km. It helps detect abnormal heat in utility tunnels, bus ducts, power cables and tunnels. Its FBG interrogation system reads multiple sensors along a single fiber for structural health monitoring. A subscription option lets customers adopt these systems without upfront capital spending.

FIBERPRO also makes fiber optic gyroscopes and inertial measurement units for precise motion measurement. Its news has covered a single axis gyroscope, the FG 150, and an advanced fiber optic gyroscope for Korea's commercial satellite operations.

The company serves customers through a worldwide distributor network. It is based in Daejeon, Korea, and publishes events including the 2026 IPNT Conference and the 2026 KIDeT Fall Conference. Its site is available in English, Korean and Chinese.

FIBERPRO says sensors are vital for measuring data from surrounding facilities and objects. It aims to contribute to the technological development of the domestic and international fiber optic sensor industry.
