Ferrovial
Global infrastructure developer: airports, highways and energy

About Ferrovial
Ferrovial is a global infrastructure company that finances, builds and operates highways, airports and energy infrastructure. Its integrated model covers financing, development, construction and long-term operation of large projects, and each project or asset is legally independent with its own managers. In North America, where it has worked for more than 20 years, Ferrovial also operates under the names Cintra, NextMove, Webber and PLW Waterworks. The US headquarters is at 9600 Great Hills Trail, Austin, Texas. Ferrovial is listed on Nasdaq and the Spanish stock exchanges, and has announced a delisting from Euronext Amsterdam following liquidity growth on Nasdaq.
Airports
Ferrovial Airports finances, builds and operates airport infrastructure through public-private partnerships with local governments, aviation authorities, airlines, tenant partners and private investors. Its stated focus is facilities that meet growing demand for commercial air travel, from air cargo to airport support services, with attention to passenger flow and resilience against storms and cyber threats. Its flagship US project is the New Terminal One at JFK International Airport in New York. The company has also described itself as a pioneer in the use of autonomous machinery for airport construction.
Highways and energy
Through Cintra, Ferrovial develops and manages toll roads such as the 407 ETR in Ontario and the LBJ TEXpress lanes in Dallas, and in October 2026 it reached commercial close on the I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes in Tennessee. Its energy business delivers energy infrastructure in fast-growing regions, and its construction arm provides technical, engineering and production capabilities for complex projects.
Recognition
Ferrovial reports that it leads the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World in the construction and engineering sector and has been named sector leader by CSRHub. The company publishes an integrated annual report and key figures each year, and reported strong first-half 2026 results.
