Exotrail

Exotrail is a French end-to-end space mobility operator and an international provider of orbital services. Its mission is to enable small satellites to move in space, optimise their deployment, increase their service performance and reduce space pollution. The company says it supports the growing space infrastructure so that operations are more secure and sustainable.

Solutions

• Electric propulsion systems for small satellites
• In-orbit services that move satellites to their operational positions and optimise deployment
• A shop for ordering products online, and a separate Exotrail US business

Why mobility matters

Exotrail argues that with the exponential rise in space objects, managing mobility in space has become a critical priority. Each satellite must move with precision to reach its operational position, and the congested environment needs specialised actors to coordinate traffic and prevent overcrowding. The company expects a more sustainable model of space management that includes reuse and maintenance, such as in-orbit infrastructure inspection, satellite refuelling to extend lifespan and debris removal.

News and partners

• A partnership with Safran on an electric propulsion reference offer
• Heading a France 2030 deorbiting demonstration with Astroscale and Eutelsat
• A published comparison of electric and chemical propulsion

Customer and partner logos on the site include NASA JPL and Blue Canyon.

Shows

Exotrail appears in the exhibitor and sponsor lists of the Small Satellite Conference, Space Tech Expo Europe, the European Space Conference (partner) and the Paris Air Show.
