Envoy Air

Envoy Air Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL) and the largest regional carrier for American Airlines. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, it operates a fleet of more than 180 aircraft on about 1,000 daily flights to over 160 destinations, with a workforce of more than 22,000 employees providing regional flight service under the American Eagle brand. The company was established in 1998 as American Eagle Airlines, Inc. after the merger of several regional carriers, and changed its name to Envoy Air Inc. on 15 April 2014 to distinguish itself from the American Eagle brand, which covers several regional carriers flying for American.
