Rotable components, engine fleet management and remarketing, Hackensack, New Jersey

About East Air Corporation

East Air Corporation was established in 1950 as one of the original FAA approved spare parts supply and overhaul facilities in the United States. It is headquartered at 337 Second Street in Hackensack, New Jersey, minutes from Manhattan, Newark and JFK airports, with operating companies in Europe and Asia. The company specializes in the sale, lease, exchange and repair of commercial and defense related aircraft components.

History

From 1958 to 1962 East Air operated a charter airline based in Germany with four Douglas DC-4 aircraft, carrying passengers and cargo across Europe, North America and Africa. The company says this period showed it the inefficiencies of the aerospace supply chain and shaped how it serves customers today.
